2007 CLASSES

Growing Dazzling Dahlias in a Container

Spend a couple of hours at Planting Fields and go home with a beautiful container garden for your deck, patio or yard. The first hour we will review the DVD “Growing Dahlias in a Container and discuss the six steps to a successful container garden. The second hour will have a hands-on planting of your own container garden. Bring your own container or purchase one at class. The container should have a 16-20” opening to accommodate seven plants. A materials fee (payable to the instructor) will cover the cost of the dahlia and six complementary plants, soil and additives. Upon completion you will have a container garden that would cost at least $150 in an upscale garden center. Lecture & Hands-on Activity
