The Coe family enjoyed spending their summers in Cody, Wyoming and enjoyed hunting there. Williams Robertson Coe or his son, William Rogers Coe collected this mounted head of an adult male Wapiti (elk) circa 1920-1924. This hangs in the Entrance Hallway of Coe Hall above the entrance to the French Reception Room. The Coe family also proudly displayed their mounts of an adult gazelle, an adult male bighorn sheep, and an additional adult male elk.
