House Grounds Gardens Great Tree The Carriage House 1916 Designed by Walker & Gillette, the Carriage House was actually referred to as the “Garage” by the Coes. It housed automobiles (such as a Bentley) rather than horses and carriages. The Carriage House matches the look of the nearby Hay Barn. Today, the building houses offices and a classroom used for workshops and meetings.
