House Grounds Gardens Great Tree The Tea House 1915 This was originally the former site of the garden house for the tennis court when purchased by the Coe family. The tennis court was replaced to create a large pool area surrounded by perennial gardens with the garden house redesigned by Guy Lowell of Lowell and Sargeant. The interior was decorated with lively colorful murals by society artist Everett Shinn. Everett Shinn was also commissioned by Mai Coe to create murals for her private suite in Coe Hall.
