This year the fabulous camellia blooms of over 200 camellia shrubs and trees will be accompanied by wonderful live music by the Good Old Days Barbershop Quartet throughout the day. Entrance to the Park and Camellia House is free.
In Coe Hall ($10 per person, Members and children under 12 are free) enjoy playing bingo for children, make your own greenhouse craft (for children only) watercolor painting workshop, and, of course, visit the Mad Hatter at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party with storytellers Jonathan Kruk & Andrew Sadler as the Queen of Hearts. Coe Hall will be open for self-guided visits, and Vinnie A. Simeone, Director of Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park, will be doing a lecture at 2:30pm in the Great Hall.
There are short walking tours in the Camellia House and there will be camellia plants available for purchase outside, courtesy of Martin Viette Nurseries.
