After Mr. Coe's death in 1955, Caroline Coe hired architect Eric Gugler to design another house on the estate, today known as the Manor House. At the time, Mrs. Coe was confined to a wheelchair and Gugler designed the house to accommodate her disability. Many furnishings were removed from Coe Hall to furnish this house, including mantel pieces and lighting fixtures. The Manor House
